An educational experience delivered by the local people of the Adelaide and Mary River Region. Learn local knowledge and history on this engaging 2 hr tour set on Aboriginal land. Join your guide down by the picturesque billabong and learn the techniques used in basket weaving and dilly bag making, have a go at throwing a spear, or playing a didgeridoo and the clapsticks. Go on a bush tucker walk and learn about local bush medicine. Connect with culture and land and the rich natural environment of the floodplains. Enjoy a morning tea of damper (bush bread).
