Overview:

Walk with these brothers, Brandan and Linc Walker on pristine Cooya Beach 15 minutes north of Port Douglas, where you will learn how to throw a spear, hunt whilst stalking and observing wildlife and country, and how to track coastal resources through the mangroves. Learn about bush tucker and medicine as they share some of their extensive knowledge of this special area and how they care for their country.

Enjoy morning tea of fresh made damper, tea/coffee as the Walker boys show and explain artefacts, tools, or even how to play a didgeridoo. We farewell the Kubirri Warra brothers as we continue north to the Daintree Village, for a 1 hour Daintree River Cruise. Enjoy delicious picnic lunch in the park before we depart for Tranquility on the Daintree, a 450 acre secluded private property where the spectacular Niau Waterfalls await.

The Niau falls are a pristine natural wonder waiting for you to discover. You will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the original French settler family. Hear of the incredible story of survival. Your guided walking tour will unlock the secrets of this fascinating eco-system. Time for a swim, (don't forget your swimmers). As your amazing day of discovery comes to a close you will be returned to your accommodation,
