Morning and afternoon teas, lunch both days. Dinner Day 1 and Breakfast Day 2. Camel tour. Pick-up/drop-off to accommodation in Broome. Water, sunscreen, insect repellant supplied
This 2 day overland safari adventure traverses the traditional country around Mt Anderson and the Grant Ranges by a combination of four wheel drive bus and camel trekking.
- Visit historically significant Lynungoodjung Cave to hear dreamtime stories
- Camp at historic Mt Anderson Station
- 2.5 hr Camel trek at Mt Anderson

With an authentic and respectful eco and cultural experiential focus, this tour provides a genuine insight in to the local way of life and local customs in a strong, healthy Aboriginal community. You will learn about traditional bush foods and medicine, gain exclusive access to rock-art sites, camp out under the stars and share in the stories told by traditional owners of the country.
6.30 am Depart Broome and travel through Kimberley cattle country, cross the Fitzroy River where you may even see a freshwater crocodile or two, before stopping for a coffee break at Willare. Entering Nyikina land travel to Jarlmadangah Community Cultural Centre for a warm welcome and where you will meet your guides and other local community members. Learn the community's history, culture, skin groups, and art followed by a lunch and walking tour of the community. From here you will visit a rock art gallery and stop for billy tea, damper and dreamtime stories. As the day winds to a close head to Mt Anderson Station to set up camp before a BBQ dinner and camp fire. Just before sunset and dinner travel 5 minutes down the road to a billabong for a spot of freshwater prawn (Cherabyn) fishing. Tonight settle in for a magical night under the stars as you sleep in domes and swags.
Rise to a lovely cooked breakfast then break camp. Join your guide for a short walk to historic Mount Anderson shearing shed and a tour of Mount Anderson Station. From here set out on a 2.5 hr camel trek to Mount Anderson Rock Hole where you stop for a swim and morning tea, and learn about bush tucker, tracking skills and bush medicine. Return to a freshly made lunch. As you journey back to Broome visit the stirring and historically significant Lynungoodjung cave to hear dreamtime stories of Woonyoonboo and more over afternoon tea. Arrive back in Broome approximately 6.30 pm.
